In the June 2009 Issue of Popstar magazine, Miley Cyrus sets the record straight.

“I finally got so frustrated and it’s so stupid [because] the reason was Iron Maiden. They were like ‘Miley doesn’t even like Iron Maiden. She’s a poser– she’s wearing that shirt.’ And I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me? You don’t know what bands I like, you don’t know the music I listen to.’ So, finally I went [to MileyWorld] and said some songs that I like and I’m like,’You know most of my fans are 8 to12 and a bunch of 18-year-olds are saying I don’t like Iron Maiden. I don’t go off singing Iron Maiden songs to kids who don’t know who Iron Maiden is.’ That wouldn’t make sense. I don’t claim to be a rock artist. But that was the thing that finally frustrated me.”

Some people do not stop and thing about this, but celebrities do have feelings.

“With my ripped tights, everyone was kind of giving me stuff about that. And finally I was like, ‘I don’t care. I like it.’ And more people say negative things it, one, only hurts my feelings. It doesn’t make me change. And two, itkind of only makes me want to do it more – - wear the ripped leggings and wear the [Iron Maiden] shirt more because I’m like,’You don’t know what I like and what my style is.’”

Is Miley Already Dating

With the break-up with Justin Gaston, it has been reported that Miley Cyrus is now dating British rocker, Steve Rushton, who use to be in the teen band Son Of Dork, according to The Press Association.

Miley and Steve met when he played the lead guitar in Hannah Montana: The Movie, which he co-wrote some of the songs on the album. He has now moved the United States and has been co-writing material with Miley for her show.
“Steve relocated to the US after signing his deal with Disney. Miley couldn’t wait for him to move. He first met her on the set of the Hannah Montana film after he was asked to play lead guitar for her band,” said a source. “They hit it off straight away. When they have been apart they have been spending hours instant messaging each other. She is still young but she is smitten with him. They are very much in love.”

According to the source, Steve has a great relationship with Miley’s dad.
