It’s About Time
According to showbizspy.com, the creator of Hannah Montana has told the press to leave Miley Cyrus alone. He stated that the media is “unfairly scrutinizing her life.” It is wonderful to see people from her show stand up for her.
The co-creator and executive producer of the show, Michael Poryes, says, “To say the tabloids are paying attention to her is a very kind way of saying it. It becomes like Miley Cyrus bites her finger nails is news at 11.”
Poryes continues, “They don’t give her a break for being able to go through the aches and pains of being an adolescent. Everyone has the right to go through being an adolescent. They blow everything out of proportion and a little misstep becomes the biggest tragedy that ever struck mankind.” Like many, I do agree with that. She is a teenager and that is not easy. Then there is the media that do ” blow everything out of proportion,” and they never let it drop. I am not sure what they get out of it?
Michael reassures her fans that everyone, who has something to do with the show, is doing whatever they can do to make Miley feel better herself. I did not think she would need it because she always seems so up beat, strong and outgoing, but it could wear on her self-esteem. I know it would mine.
“The challenge of that is to do our best to make Miley feel – at least in this circle of people – that it’s fine to make mistakes, you’re not going to be judged or scrutinized on set,” Poryes added.
