Is Miley’s Dad Over Protective?

Most children think their parents are over protective. This is also true for 15-year-old Miley Cyrus, even though she is allowed to date. On the Oprah Show, she told about a time when she was in the back yard with the male friend, not even a person whom she was dating. She noticed her father, “He was in the kitchen looking at us with the dog.” Her father was quick to say that he was “just kidding.” I feel her pain on that.
When I was growing up, I always believed my mom was over protective. Now as a parent I know it was true. Billy Ray Cyrus told Fox that he wants to be there for Miley when she makes mistakes. Parents are always going to be over protective, part of our jobs, but it has to be harder on Billy Ray because Miley is also famous. At a local radio station here in Missouri they ask has Miley become more famous than Elvis? Their answer was “yes.”
*** Miley should be on Oprah’s After Show in a few weeks.

Thanks for the writeup. Yeah parents are always protective of their kids. I wouldn’t say he is being overly protective. Just loves his daughter and wants what is best for her.

Miley if u see this i hope u agree with me i’m not trying to take your father’s side although i like him he’s so funny and i like both of u all.
