Miley Cyrus might be dating Douglas Booth.

And Liam Hemsworth is rumored to have cheated on the 17-year old with some blonde named Katy.

But a friend of the former couple says it doesn’t matter: there’s still hope for an eventual Miley/Liam reconciliation.

They starred together in The Last Song – but have Miley and Liam shared their last kiss?

“There might be a chance of rekindling their romance in the future. They both are of the mindset that if it’s meant to be, it will be,” said the cliche-loving pal to The Daily Telegraph.

The same insider dishes on details of the failed relationship, adding:

“Liam was into the relationship a lot more then she was. He liked being exclusive. He was serious about her and wanted to make it work.

“She still has strong feelings for Liam, but she still is very young and currently is career driven. She knows this is her time to shine career-wise and that love will come whenever she wants it. She was a lot busier than he was, and distance also played a role in the break-up.”

She grew up.

And no one likes it.

So this mother of a 5-year-old is stepping forward to hand Miley a tissue. And an apology.

On behalf of every mother out there who shudders at your name, I say turn 18 in peace this year. And keep making movies like The Last Song. They let you be yourself.

A teenager trying to figure out who she is. A girl past puberty who has, gasp, started to identify herself as a sexual being.

I’ve oft posited Disney would be better off sticking to the princesses because as fictional characters, they manage a feat Miley, Hillary, Britney, et al can’t. They stay one age … forever.

The reviews for The Last Song in particular struck me as proof that society is stuck in the “blame Miley” rut. The film was aimed at teen girls, who loved it. But any failings were blamed not on writer Nicholas Sparks and his “sad story at the beach” trope but laid squarely on Cyrus’ shoulders.

Paging all parents: she’s still just a kid trying to grow up.

And she’s been doing it in front of you the whole time.

Are her choices stupid?

You bet your sweet pole dance. But do you happen to recall your teenage years? We were just lucky enough to do it without someone making fun of our “horse teeth” and poor underwear choices.

If the paparazzi were constantly poking around in co-star Jason Earles’ life, they’d likely find something naughty too — after all, he’s 33 and legally able to do plenty of things the average parent doesn’t want their child doing … or watching their role model do.

But we’re too busy playing the “you’re older, you should be more mature” game with Miley. Yes, she’s older than our girls. But she’s still a kid.

Give her a break. She’s just being Miley.

Will’s Comments: I agree 1000%  that’s right 10 time 100%. Miley is a kid and sometimes she makes a mistake. Then she learns from it just like the rest of us learn from our mistakes, and then she moves on. And I am not going to get into the details. But let me tell you a secret. When I was a kid, I wasn’t perfect. I am still not.

Just days after her boyfriend and The Last Song co-star Liam Hemsworth confirmed that he and the Hannah Montana star had split up, Hollywood Life reports that Cyrus was spotted “falling all over” her new co-star, British-born actor Douglas Booth.

A bartender who works at the Lion’s Den in Waterford, Michigan, tells the site that Cyrus and Booth were in his restaurant last week with LOL: Laughing Out Loud co-stars Ashley Greene and Tanz Watson, and Cyrus was “fawning all over” Booth. According to the drink-slinger, 

 “It looked like Miley was very interested in [Douglas]. I thought they were boyfriend and girlfriend, they were flirting so much. She was really fawning all over him, acting really girly-girly. For his part, he seemed to be eating up the attention…The flirting was very respectful and no, they didn’t [kiss]. They were among friends and other people in the restaurant – but she WAS falling all over him. ”

The bartender’s account closely aligns with that provided by a female Cyrus fan who was also at the restaurant that night, and told Web site Ocean Up, days before news of Cyrus and Hemsworth’s split became public knowledge,

“It was really weird, though, she was ALL over the Douglas kid. I wanted to ask her where Liam was but thought that would be a little rude lol.”

Maybe she should have broached the topic anyway; she might have had a real scoop on her hands.

“I feel good about it,” Pontiac resident Arthur Smith said, sitting across the street watching the film crews work behind security guards. “It brings in revenue.”

Fellow Pontiac resident Vi’ Dal Allen said: “It brings in recognition.”

Cyrus and Demi Moore were in Pontiac Tuesday morning for their new movie, “LOL: Laughing Out Loud.”

The film, a remake of a 2008 French movie of the same name, is about a girl dealing with a breakup and a divorced mother simultaneously. It is scheduled to be released in 2011.

Marlo Thomas, who was born in Detroit, plays Moore’s mother in the comedy.

Thomas Jane and Gina Gershon also star in the movie.

The movie is written and directed by Lisa Azuelos, who also directed the original French version.

The morning of the shoot, the street in front of the Eagle Theater, 15 S. Saginaw St., was blocked off with large white semi-trailers. People unloaded and loaded equipment, walking to and from the theater. A number of white trailers were positioned on the south end of the parking lot for the Phoenix Center.

As residents watched, a large white SUV pulled out of the parking lot where the trailers were located, turned onto Saginaw Street and stopped in front of the theater. Cyrus got out of the vehicle and walked into the theater.

The publicist for the film, Brooke Ensign, said the set is completely closed.

Allen said he would have liked to see all of Saginaw Street used and not just one business.

Smith said he’s just happy to see the movie being made in Pontiac, regardless of how much is used.

“I say bring in what we can bring in,” he said.

Dan McGowan, co-owner of the Crofoot complex, which includes the theater, said he is proud to welcome another film to Pontiac.

“We are ecstatic the production chose to shoot in one of our live rooms and in downtown Pontiac,” he said.

“In the last few years, Pontiac has been the backdrop for more and more films, most recently ‘Red Dawn’ and ‘Sucker,’ and we hope with the opening of the nearby Raleigh Studios this will become a common sight in Pontiac.”

Miley Cyrus is a great singer and a great actress and it seems that Miley Cyrus is very popular. Some people said that Miley Cyrus is back on twitter. Miley Cyrus is back on Twitter? In recent days, appeared on twitter account @ xSmileyRayCyrus apparently maintained by Miley Cyrus. The voice of a return on Twitter Miley has spread in the blink of an eye, so that # Mileyisback soon became a trending topic. But is it really so? No, Miley Cyrus is back on Twitter. The account xSmileyRayCyrus as many suspected is a fake. Miley’s friend Lesley Patterson has posted on her Twitter (@ saywhatlesley) an exchange of messages via phone with Miley. At the news of her return on Twitter Miley Cyrus replied, “What? No, as you may have been certified as authentic? I love you and macho. Miley Cyrus is very popular.

Moreover Miley Cyrus does not like much Internet and social networking. As told Movieline: “I hate when I read the stars who complain because they have a private life. Well, if they continue to write about Twitter are doing everything that I wrote … ‘I am here’ on Twitter, then I wondered why the restaurant was stormed by fans. And on Facebook said: “The boys are really enjoying their lives because they are too busy taking pictures and put them on Facebook. What I’m saying is: live the moment and stop telling people. ” I think that Miley Cyrus is right.

Paradoxically, in her next film LOL (Laughing Out Loud) Miley Cyrus interpret a girl obsessed by SMS, Twitter, IM and internet.s The idea of abandoning soial network is increasingly tempting her friend Demi Lovato, who yesterday wrote about Twitter (@ ddlovato): “It’s sad because we are dependent on social networks. Plot:

They were originally scheduled to start filming in Dearborn, Michigan on July 20. However, they got an early start on July 16. At the Dearborn site there was not much to see. The filming took place inside a warehouse on Mercury Drive. But every now and then I was able to catch a glimpse of Miley Cyrus or Ashley Greene taking a break and walking their dogs.

I also spent some of my time downtown in Detroit at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel where the cast was staying. I never saw anyone except Billy Ray Cyrus while I was there. He was kind enough to give me his autograph. Other fans said they saw Ashley, Tish (Miley’s Mom), and Noah at times. Demi Moore rented a condo in town so she was not staying at the hotel.

They were filming around the corner from the hotel at one point. They even had two Chicago police cars out in front out the building where they were filming. (The movie takes place in Chicago)

For the past 10 days or so, they have been filming at the Grosse Pointe High School South. That has been the most fun site of all. On the first day, Miley and Douglas Booth were filming a scene outside in the courtyard. It appeared that they were late for school or something like that. They each started from opposite sides of the courtyard, ran into the center and then together they ran up the steps and into the school. I stood with about 50 fans across the street as we watched them film about 8 to 10 takes of the scene. The rest of the days at the school were spent inside in various rooms.

Every bit of the school was used except areas that were required for athletic events.

I have seen Miley and Ashley every day as they arrived and left the set. Miley waves to fans every time she drives by. But she does not normally stop on the set to sign autographs because she is very focused on and busy with filming. But she has been seen all over town and given fans autographs and taken pictures with them. In fact I ran into her at the local mall. It was quite a surprise but she was very nice and she took the time to give me an autograph.

Ashley has stopped many times as she walks off the set to sign autographs. I was with a group of people on one of those occasions. But before it was my turn, security came out and kicked us out. At least I got to meet her though.

A beach picture of sorts it is sure to become an annual favorite for fans of the genre as well as fans of both Ms Cyrus and Mr. Sparks. 

The DVD and Blu-ray combo should please those who might want to view the film multiple times, perhaps while at the beach themselves.

Young singer Miley Cyrus plays Ronnie Miller, a girl almost in adulthood, but having hit some bumps on her journey.  Mom (Kelly Preston) and Dad (Greg Kinnear) are divorced, and both Ronnie and her little brother Jonah (Bobby Coleman) have some issues from this.

A promising musician since childhood, Ronnie’s dreams for the future, as well as her Dad’s hopes of her training at Julliard have all dissolved. 
The visit to Dad, beach house or no, isn’t something that Ronnie is excited about, and Ms. Cyrus plays the surly teen very well.  Inevitably she meets Will (Liam Hemsworth) volleyball jock and good humored guy who trades smart remarks with Ronnie and they fall in love. 

So much happens in this film, too much some might say, that it quickly changes from an almost believable story to overblown melodrama.  Lots of bad things occur, so much so you might find yourself thinking fondly of the old style beach movies and wishing for Erik Von Zipper or the 21st century equivalent of his character to show up and relieve the children from unrelenting angst.

Amazingly enough, in spite of the tsunami of misfortune that hits them, no one seems to be permanently scarred or emotionally damaged.  I suppose it could be an argument for resiliency of character.

Disc one is the Blu-ray version of the film in high definition picture and sound.  Running time is 107 minutes. 

The special features include an alternate opening sequence, deleted scenes, a behind the scenes
 tour with actor Bobby Coleman, Miley Cyrus music video “When I Look at You” and a Making of the Miley Cyrus music video “When I Look at You” featurette, and an audio commentary for the film.

The DVD disc has the film in widescreen format, the behind the scenes tour, the music video and the making of featurette as well as the film’s audio commentary. 

Beautiful scenery and a likeable cast are the plus points for the film. The Last Song Blu-ray and DVD combo will be welcomed by the movie’s fans.  With two choices of viewing on two discs and many specials, there is a lot to see and explore.

Will’s Comments: I went to see the Last Song over 20 times at the theater. I could not get enough of it. The whole cast were perfect for their roles. Miley and Liam were totally awesome as Ronnie and Will! Miley recently won a Teen Choice Award for her part in the Last song. I would like to see her receive an Oscar for her performance. Currently the video is #1 on the iTunes movie list. I just got my DVD today and I could not wait to see it. I was not disappointed in the least. It is sure to be a hit in every Miley fan’s home.

LOL: Laughing Out Loud stars Demi Moore, Miley Cyrus, Thomas Jane and Ashley Greene. It’s about a girl named Lola who navigates high school while dodging her parents in the age of Facebook, YouTube and iTunes.

However, things go south when Lola’s mom, Anne, “accidentally” reads her racy journal. Cyrus plays Lola, while Moore plays Anne.

The movie has been filming around Detroit since July 20. Moore was spotted just before filming at a Garden City karaoke bar with Gerard Butler, who is in Detroit filming Machine Gun Preacher.

Will’s Comment: I have been watching them film for about two weeks now. I finally got to meet Miley and get her autograph. I would still like to meet Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.
